Benefits:
BIO-WASH™ Woodwash™ has been proven to effectively remove gray weathered wood, mold, mildew, tannin bleeding and water stains.
If used according to directions, this waterbased formula will not harm surrounding vegetation and is quick and easy to clean up.
Wood surface must be dry and above 10°C (50°F). Prewet surrounding vegetation with water. Residue from rinsing will not harm plants.
Conduct a small test patch in an inconspicuous area to ensure product performance.
Apply Woodwash™ liberally with a garden sprayer or synthetic brush. Saturate wood surface with Woodwash™, then wait 5 minutes.
Scrub lightly in direction of grain with a stiff synthetic brush while rinsing with water.
Rinse in direction of wood grain with a garden hose or pressure washer at low setting (500-1200 PSI) to reduce scrubbing. If brightening is required, use Simple Wash™ prior to applying Stain Prep™.
Wood can be protected same day with damp wood-friendly Natural Deck Oil™.
10 to 20 sq.m. per 3.8L (100 to 200 sq.ft. per US gallon).
Woodwash™ works on contact. Rinse wood well with water after applying Woodwash™.
Woodwash™ is for outdoor weathered wood surfaces.
Some dilution with water for lightly grayed wood is possible.
Heavily weathered wood surfaces may look fibrous after rinsing
Woodwash™.
Immediately brushing along the wood grain helps remove the loose fiber. Wood rich in tannin may darken during restoration. If this
occurs, Simple Wash™ can be used to re-brighten wood.
Stain Prep™ should be used to balance the pH of the wood surface before re-coating. The result will be a longer lasting, even and natural looking finish.
Dispose of remaining product in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
Neutralise with diluted acid, (Simple Wash™) or citric acid (vinegar).
Clean up tools immediately with tap water.
Treated surfaces are extremely slippery. Woodwash™ may harm bare metal or painted surfaces. Keep product from freezing.
Handle with care. When spraying wear a NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator.
MAY IRRITATE EYES AND SKIN. Do not mix with toilet bowl cleaner or bleach. Do not swallow.
Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses.
