Basic Use

Clear and Clean II is a clear water-based polyurethane formulated for interior wood floor surfaces. It can also be used on other wood surfaces such as doors, trim, paneling and cabinets where extra durability is desired. Clear and Clean II may be applied to bare, bleached or stained wood. It is compatible with a variety of other Wood Kote products. Please refer to the Wood Kote Schedule of Product Compatibility and Recommended Dry Times. Clear and Clean II complies with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission requirements for Architectural and Industrial Maintenance (AIM) coatings (effective 13Sep99).

Coverage

One application of Clear and Clean II will cover approximately 400-500 sq ft/gal (9,8-12,2 m2/L). For best results, 3–6 coats are recommended.

Composition & Properties

Clear and Clean II is a fast-drying, water-based, post-catalyzed aliphatic polyurethane-acrylic hybrid. It is intended to be catalyzed with X-Link- R prior to application. It is intended for application without thinning. If thinning is desired, use clean water.
