KatLaq 680A Vinyl Sealer is a nitrocellulose vinyl acetate-based lacquer formulated as a first coat to seal any bare interior wood surface such as casework, doors, trim, paneling and cabinets in preparation for subsequent applications of KatLaq 680A (pre-catalyzed lacquer). It is fast drying and has superior flow and leveling properties. It may be applied to bare, bleached or stained wood. It is compatible with a variety of other Wood Kote products. Please refer to the Wood Kote Schedule of Product Compatibility and Recommended Dry Times. KatLaq 680A Vinyl Sealer is specially recommended for surfaces that may be repeatedly subjected to moisture. When properly applied under KatLaq 680A pre-catalyzed lacquer, the finish meets or surpasses all KCMA tests for wood cabinets. KatLaq 680A Vinyl Sealer complies with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission requirements for Architectural and Industrial Maintenance coatings (effective 13Sep99).

Composition & Properties
KatLaq 680A Vinyl Sealer is a nitrocellulose vinyl acetate-based lacquer and contains no stearates. It is intended for application without thinning. If thinning is desired, LaqThin T-99A (lacquer thinner) should be used or, if regulations require a VOC-exempt thinner, use AceThin (acetone).
